The Stewards fined J.A.Stack, trainer, €350 for lodging a passport in respect of Court Queen, in which the vaccinations did not conform with the provisions of Rule 91. The Stewards allowed the horse to run on receipt of the trainer's written assurance that the vaccinations were in order.

The Stewards requested a report from W. McCreery, trainer as to the apparent improvement in form of Downforce, placed first, as compared with its recent form. The trainer reported that this horse was ridden with restraint the last day, gave a blow at the furlong pole, and ran poorly. Today he was sent on sooner which seemed to bring about a return to form. Having considered the evidence the Stewards noted the contents of the report.
